2002, Eddie, my African American husband had been told he has hypertension He was and still is a 2 pack a day smoker. Nov. 23, 2002 daughter finds him on the floor, body shuting down, admitted to ICU next day surgery. He had a split in his aorta a foot long, chances of survival after surgery, 5% without, none.
