Effects of aortic stenosis?

Hello,
I've been informed that I have mild aortic stenosis as a result of childhood rheumatic fever. I have a heart murmur. How will this effect general health in the future?
I'm taking amlodipine and accupril (quinipril) to treat this condition. It apparently affects blood-pressure levels.
Will this effect ability to enjoy hiking?
