Is it stress and anxiety or something more? Please help.

My wife has been suffering from anxiety for some time now taking medication to help. She recently had an abnormal EKG at a routine physical that led us to a cardiologist The EKG once again came back abnormal and a Holter monitor was prescribed and used. We returned the monitor almost 1 week ago and have not heard any feed back. The tone I recieved was "no news is good news" She is going in Wednesday for a nuclear stress test and echocardiogram. My question is; if she is already stressed out about the physical and the follow up when do we know it is not just the anxiety of the test causing the fluttering in her heart? The last cardiologist also scared her pretty bad with a question about kids and the likely hood of having them if she has to go on blood thinners. She is a non smoker with no history of heart disease in her family. All of her blood work is fine her cholestorol was a little high. Any feed back or passed experiences would be helpful.

Thanks
