mitral valve regurgation

I recently have been diagnosesed with mitral valve regurgation at a rate of 27% and told I had a mild case. I have many questions. Most prevalent is: At what presentage should I become concerned? Should I have echo's done every 2 yrs or more often?

Have had all the test for mitral valve regurgation......these were done in november of 05 ....we moved and complete test were done again in January 06.....one heart doctor strongly suggested the valve be repaired within three months.....the other heart doctor suggested we take another look in six months......this leaves me in a mess.....do I get a third opinion??????need advice...thhank you
