My mom has high blood pressure, and her cholesterol just slightly high. About 1 week ago she was sleeping and a severe chest pain woke her up, the pain was on her chest, left arm, side of her neck and jaw. We immediately called 911 and when the paramedics got here they took her blood pressure which was high 175/100, they gave her 2 aspirin to chew, then when we got to the hospital she was still having chest pain and they gave her 2 nitrogylcerin and it dropped her pressure down to 50/24!!
