My friend has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I want to find some alternative solutions for her, that may help her, apart from the prescribed medication. I want to find something that is complementary, along side normal treatment, which will bring beneficial, fruitful results.

I was just wondering if you guys knew of any tried and tested solutions. She is about 60 and is really fit for her age. I don't understand the condition too well so my medical input on it is very limited.

I read an article that said that infrared saunas ( http://www.divapor.com/sauna-articles/sauna-therapy-chronic-heart-failure.php ) could potentially help with chronic heart failure, but I don't know whether I'm coming or going, so much on my mind at the moment. What's the difference between chronic heart failure and congestive heart failure?

Anyway, I appreciate your input and suggestions.
