Congestive Heart Failure

Hello,

I am just beginning to get familiar with CHF and my mother was just diagnosed with it. I have seen several of the postings refer to an EF percentage. What does it that mean and what is a normal EF?

EF is Ejection Fraction and it is how efficient/well the heart is pumping. Normal is between 50 and 65.
