Re: heart attackhello, hope you are doing fine. I am a 28 yr old mother of one child...this summer I experienced very sharp chest pains, and three months later had an argument with someone and have had the chest pains since...I have gone to two different dr's (cardiologists) and they have done several exams- all come normal, but still with chest pains, they gave me meds but do not seem to do very well. I am fit, I use to go to the gym everyday but not anymore-I am very scarred, to get another episode. Did your father have previous episodes of heart attacks? Hope u the best!
Re: heart attackDear Deb,
I'm so sorry for the loss to you and your family. I too, lost my father to a massive heart attack, he was the picture of a healthy 56 year old man, very active and seemed so well. He died suddenly and there was no success in reviving him. Just the shock was so hard for everyone. He was loved by so many people. Only a little less than two years later, I had to undergo bypass surgery for blocked arteries. My condition was severe but the surgery was successful. The doctors say that as I was only 34 years old, the condition was caused mostly by heredity. I have since then had other procedures and one minor heart attack, bypasses don't last forever and neither do stents. Guard the family your father left behind. Be mindful of your cardiac health. God bless you and may healing come to your family in this great loss.
