Hi,

My mother is 56 years old and has complications in her heart. she had a bypass operation a month ago, she has been complaining that it feels like her heart is "racing out of control." Is this normal?


I had asked the same question in http://www.caring.com/questions/racing-heart

I was suggested to use electric shock for my mother and it kind of freaked me out . But she has a weak heart. I am not so sure whether I could consider the suggestion. So I am seeking out as many opinions as possible.

Please suggest.
