BP fluctuating, chest pain

Post a new topicby asc on Tue Oct 09, 2007 2:25 pm

My untreated BP is around 200/110. I'm on lisinopril and diltiazem and most of the time it is pretty well controlled.

The last couple of days I was away from home and it was 150/100-157/107 resting on several occasions.

Recently I've been having quite a lot of central chest pain on exertion and stress, relieved by GTN. Yesterday and today have not been good days.

Does anyone else find spikes like this?

These were actually resting levels, recorded as normally - the only stress was being away from home. This morning it is 144/95.
