helpi'm a 32 yr old male with a history of h.b.p. and m.v.p. i've been on 100mg of tenormin for some time now and cannot get pressure to drop below 155/108. at times it spikes to 220/157 for no reason. recently i've been unable to urinate more than 2 times a day and have pain in my back above the waist and feel itchy all the time ...could this be a warning sign of kidney disease or something more serious going on?
Re: helpThere are other clases of drugs besides beta blockers (tenormin) that can be used to optimize antihypertensive therapy.
