hi, when i was 36weeks pregnant i was admitted to hospital with toxemia and put on metholdopa i gave birth a couple of days later due to induction a couple of days after this i ran up the hospital stairs and when at the top i wa very short of breath followed by nausea sweating and very fast heart rate, the nurse told me to lie down my bp was very high so they admistrated dopamine which i was told later made my heart go even faster it rased for a day and during this period i urinated buckets of fluid and dropped all the odema fluid from my body, the doctor changed me to labetlol and i seemed to come right. What i want to know is what actually happened to me as my doctor has no answers and could it be any underlining problem i still have hypertension today and none of my immediate family have it,please help as i would really love an explanation.
