MVP

Post a new topicby cobia24 on Thu Aug 14, 2008 5:29 pm

I have a 60% ejection rate due to my mitral valve. My Cardio doctor says I pretty much can do what I want. Im on a low dose of lopressor to lower my HR. I just recently took a scuba divers refresher course and noticed on the physical examination guidelines a relative risk factor is MVP. I have a call into my doctor but havent had a reply. Does anyone out their have an opinion on this matter. Im 52 yo, 5' 11" 170 lbs exercise regularly. Do I have a future or am I going to become a floater?
