pls. help me. i'm concerned that my mother was diagnosed with a small stroke today in the ER. she was sent home to follow up in 1or2 days with her neurologist and PMD. i dont understand why she was not admitted.

It would really depend on several factors, old versus new stroke, risk factors, cause, deficit, etc. It maybe fine, I would call her doctor and get her seen ASAP

My brother was sent home also and told to go to a dr and get an MRI. He does not have insurance
