Extreme Sensitivity to Sunlight

Post a new topicby CherieFisher on Sun Oct 28, 2007 9:02 pm

On 8/23/07 driving on highway started to causee my vision to blur. It seemed as though I just left eye doctor & my eyes were dialated. I went to the eye doctor the same day & she found nothing wrong. One week later I couldn't see at all when driving in sun. Headlights from other cars seemed to all have highbeams on. Not safe to drive at all anymore. Doctors still found nothing wrong except high blood pressure Got blood pressure under control & yet 1 month after symtoms started vision became worse. Started having floaters & constantly dizzy. Neurologist finds nothing wrong on MRI & all other tests show nothing wrong. Vision now sensitive in sunlight almost blinding me. Specialist diagnosed my vision problem as "headaches". My vision is becoming blurred indoors & hard to read. I become dizzy all day. Now remember regularly becoming dizzy when using bathroom stall at work over a year ago. Also remember Sear's Optical Dept. doctor mentioning my retina was thinning 2yrs ago. He suggested I return if I saw flashes. I now see flashes but current eye doctors state retina is normal. It is now 10/27/07 & doctors still state I suffer from headaches. I do get headaches but I think the headaches are from their misdiagnosis. Please help!!!

I will suggest you do a full blood count and CPR to get an indication of your body general health. those test will tell your doctor and you if there is a major problem in your body.

that is the only advice i can give you. but those test should not be your only guide, the way you feel is the first indicator of problems.
