is it traumatic brain injury and if so what should I do?

My girlfriend, whom I've been in an amazing relationship with for near 7 months changed drastically the other day after a head injury. The day before it happened we were talking about how great things were going. She's very usually a very affectionate and outgoing person. The other day she fell off of a friend's shoulders in a pool and hit the back of her head very hard on the side of it and became pale and shaky. It continued to hurt throughout the evening and she felt dizzy and her personality started to change. The next day I took her out to run some errands and she was acting very different and detached and every time she closed her eyes she would become drastically dizzy. I rushed her home and told her mom to take her to the doctor. On the way to the doctor's out of nowhere she broke up with me because she was scared of things and seemed really unstable. She also said that since she hit her head she's felt apathetic towards things, having a hard time thinking straight, feeling dizzy, and lost all feeling towards anything she normally had feeling for. Her mother is greatly concerned because of how spontaneous this was and how her personality has changed and the fact that she, a normally caring and loving person who feels terrible if she even thinks she's done something wrong, has no feeling whatsoever towards what she did or what's happening. Since she told me that this all happened in completely by surprise after she hit her head I looked up head injuries and personality changes and an article on tbi (traumatic brain injury) came up and pretty much every symptom ive read about she's had. Since then she's been staying at a friend's house even on school nights which is highly out of character since she either misses me or her family, especially her little sister. When she went to the doctor her mom didn't mention any of the personality changes so they said it was probably just a minor concussion which I read can be misdiagnosed if personality changes aren't mentioned and that if there are that it can very well be tbi. We're very concerned for her and do not know what we should do. If anyone can give any useful information it would be greatly appreciated.

The behavioral and personality changes need to conveyed to the physician. They are part of the changes acutely related to the event and seem related to it. But, the Doc won't know any of this unless properly advised. It could be not at all a consequence of any injury but that remains to be proven.

Thank you sir...It's just that I can't convince her or her mother to tell the doctor about the personality changes and now she's just completely ignoring me when I try to which perfectly spells out the denial stage I read about.

I would certainly think that if her change in behavior is related to the head trauma that it should not be directed at just you. Does her mom not recognize changes in how she relates to other people and things in her life? If it is just you then it might be your relationship and not the trauma. You need to prepare yourself for that possibility.
